The snow is melting and its time to say good-bye

Its crazy to think that a week today we will have left our home in Wanaka for good! I've been waiting for this for a while as being unemployed here isnt too fun! But now it has come around i'm not too sure how i feel about it. This is one of the most beautiful places i have been let alone live and now we are leaving it all behind :(

 As of tomorrow there will only be 5 of us left - Eliza went Monday and Gue is going tomorrow! The house already feels empty as it is. Just got to start the Mammoth cleaning job! I'm also lucky that one of my besties is coming for 3 days soooo excited to see her!

I shouldnt complain too much as I will be going to Samoens in France and living in the mountains at the beg of Dec! And although the scenery isn't that great in England - well some bits are - i get to see all my family and friends :)

England V Georgia - Rugby World Cup

We went off to Dunedin to see the rugby. I had never been to one before and still have no ideas about the rules. There was a mexican wave going around so I was too interested in doing that haha. 
It was really good fun though and we had pretty good seats about half way up behind the goal. Or row was Z so we thought we would be really far back but we wasnt!

The day was pretty uneventful, a really nice and windy drive down to Dunedin. I know I am getting old as me and Elle took a bottle of Vodka and we didnt drink any of it. FAIL! But at least England won. There were alot of Geogia supporters - i think most of them were kiwis/aussies and scottish people as they all HATE us!
Not sure if I would rush to watch another match but glad i have been and i had to go to the Rugby World Cup whilst in NZ!

Pirates and Ninjas!

Feeling slightly hungover tired today from last nights party. Slept in until 11 which was amazing. Poor Joe had to go to work and was up at 6.30!!
Pirates and Ninjas was the theme for Lena's 21st party. I get a text from Joe the day before about it and immediately text back saying cool but we have nothing to wear! Ha that was a joke we both managed to make outfits from our clothes and didnt have to buy ANYTHING! Love it! There were alot more pirates than Ninjas but everyone was saying it was because you couldnt see them haha!

Was a really good night and the birthday girl got a message from her family (shes canadian) and they had bought her a sky-dive! So sweet.
We're go to the rugby tomorrow so very excited about that! I'm off to read up on the rules!

The sun is shining

Just another beautiful day out. Even got my legs out for abit of  tannage! Want this bloody wind to F off though. There has even been more snow up the hill too! Text from Joe yesterday "just had the best runs of the season" jealous much?!
I dont think i can ride anyway as i woke myself up about 5 this morning and twisted my knee and its bloody hurting! My other roomie has a really bad foot from her ski boot so we're both just hobbling around the house!
There is a partay tonight though - Ninja's and Pirates! Will post some pics of that tomo :)
