Wellington to Nelson

The woman was still sleeping when we got up at 6AM! Strange little thing she was.

Ridiculously hungover/drunk when i woke&dont know how i managed to get from the hostel to the ferry terminal. Its amazing the things you can do when you are in that state.

What i saw of the journey was a-mazing. annoyed i slept so much of it.

The ferry actually drops you off at Picton. its not even that far across but take about 3 hours due to it having to go so slow.
Nelson was nice we were quite far out of the town but close to the centre of NZ(geographical centre)! Off we went walking up there, nice steep winding hill just what you need when you are hungover!

The park below made us feel like we were back in England, we walked over a stream which was lovely.
